As the name suggests, the 2+ version of these brushes is designed for the quick application of a dense layer of ink, making them particularly useful, especially when working with stencils. In contrast, the original shader brushes are intended for gradually adding colors, allowing you to build up density by applying multiple layers of ink.

To maintain optimal performance, it is advised to dedicate each brush to similar colors and remove excess ink by dabbing it on scrap paper between uses. These brushes are also washable with mild soap and running water. To prevent water from entering the barrel, it's important to keep the brushes pointing downward during the cleaning process.
